Meet the Team

Mark Angus
Founder and Managing Director

Mark originally founded Marlin in 1994 having served an apprenticeship and training for one of Guildford most established companies, having gained considerable experience within the commercial and residential sectors, he then went on to a London based company as an M&E site manager
The skills gained in this period allowed the progress to self employement and the creation of one of the South's leading regional M&E contractors
Quality of Delivery,Staff and relationships have been the cornerstones of the mangement principles of Marlin.
During the 90s Marlin organically grew taking on a minimum of two apprentices per year, some of which remain within the company who have become an essential part of the team as either managers or site supervisors.
Marlin directly employs more than 30 staff and has a range of approved subcontractors again some of which relationships are over 18 years.

Mark's ethos is to deliver excellance and to be at the top of the perfomance tables in the sector

Maintaining relationships has been a essential part of Marlin's success, with much repeat business and client retention some clients having used Marlin for over 20 years

Linda Angus
Head of Accounts

Linda has been one the most important ingredients during the early years of the companies growth, as a busy Mum of two boys, she looks after the day to day accounting within the Business and manages her support staff to deliver the sales and purchase services of the business.

Rory Macleod
Head of Estimation and Procurement

Rory joined Marlin in 2006 and comes from a wholesaling background providing the business with a incredible depth of knowledge in the procument of all aspects of the Mechanical and Electrical sector, over the last five years, Rory has further developed his skills within estimating side of the business
Marlin uses the latest software packages for running the business for both job costing, purchasing and estimating, Rory has been the primary implimentor of these systems.

Tony Leggett
Contracts manager

Tony Joined Marlin in 2019 and has been a fantastic edition to the team. Tony has many years experience in being a contracts manager and his knowledge and skills are already integrating perfectly with our company.

Ian Lewis
Project Manager

Ian joined the company in 1998 and has worked with Mark Angus since the late 80s serving as trainees at the same company
Ian is regarded by the directors as the one of the most knowledgeable engineers, and has been responsible for managing our most prestigious
and challenging projects, Ian holds full SSSTS, IPAFE, NICEIC QM. Ian’s quality of finish and attention to detail is the bench mark for the business standards.

Chris Liddicott
Site Supervisor

Chris joined the company in 2005 and has become a much valued employee, Chris has a passion for knowing as much as possible about
All disciplines of the industry, as well as being an excellent electrician he is qualified in Fire and Intruder alarms, and access control.

Craig Granville
Design Engineer

Craig joined the company in early 2003 and heads up our CAD department, having been in the business for such a considerable time Craig brings a wealth of experience.
With past and future designs, he also has a great appetite for all things IT and is a great asset managing our IT services with the business.
